HOME IMPROVEMENT GUY

Hi, my name is Allen Hardy (Not to be confused with Al Borland from the TV show, Home Improvement) and I run this informative little blog. If you've stumbled across this page you're probably asking yourself, "what qualifies this guy to label himself THE home improvement guy?" Home improvement and I go way back. I started my working days as a roof installer for American Standard Roofing in Southfield, MI. For 20 years I worked in home improvement under different companies with different titles. At the age of 38 I decided to take a risk and start my own Michigan home improvement company. With over 40 years of home improvement experience, I have a lot of wisdom I'd like to be able to share with you. My hope is that this blog will inspire more Michigan homeowners to invest the time and effort into improving their homes. I can tell you it's worth it.
